I would love to say that I have had a passion for food from an early age, but this just wouldn’t true. As a small boy eating was an inconvenience, something I just had to do so I wouldn’t get into trouble with my mother. Then when I was a teenager food was a mine field full of ingredients that would either give me spots or make me fat. It wasn’t until I started to travel the world as a young adult and open up to different cultures that I was opened up to the endless possibilities of food.
I then went onto work at a number of restaurants in Sydney and then in London. I went onto work at The River Cottage in Devon, with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Now I’m back in London with my dog, Harvey, cooking and writing about cooking. I couldn’t be happier.
